What is a prefix?
As you can see on this chart, prefixes are letters which we add to the beginning of a word to make a new word with a different meaning. Prefixes can, for example, create a new word opposite in meaning to the word the prefix is attached to. They can also make a word negative or express relations of time, place or manner.
Ha llegado la hora de saber qué es el estilo indirecto y sobre todo: cómo se utiliza en una conversación en inglés! Tenemos, primero, que saber que trabajaremos el reported speech en Afirmativa, órdenes, sugerencias y preguntas
Pero...espera Pilar...what is REPORTED SPEECH?
Se trata de nada más y nada menos que explicar con tus propias palabras (your own words) lo que otra persona ha dicho), para ello hay que adaptar tiempos verbales y adverbios, teniendo en cuenta el tipo de oración.
Por ejemplo: A los alumnos de 1Bachillerato les encanta el inglés- Pilar dijo
Pilar said 1st Bachillerato students love English- Pilar said
A la hora de transformar esta frase a indirecto, basta simplemente con comenzar con el verbo introductorio Pilar said THAT... students LOVED English (voilá ya está)
Aquí es muy sencillo porque la modificación que hemos llevado a cabo sólo ha sido de presente simple a pasado. Esta tabla es muy famosa y fundamental:
REPORTED SPEECH IN QUESTIONS!
¿Qué ocurre cuando hay que transformar una pregunta en estilo indirecto? Muy sencillo!
Tendremos en cuenta el orden de la oración pues no es lo mismo la estructura que sigue en interrogativa que en afirmativa, a la vez, que la modificación de tiempos verbales.
Un sencillo ejemplo, cuando preguntamos la hora, el 80% de alumnos cae al transformar esta pregunta

Pilar asked what time IT WAS (hemos puesto primero el sujeto dado que no es una pregunta y hemos cambiado is por was)

A la hora de realizar sugerencias, tenemos 2 alternativas para el indirecto
1) Usar gerundio (ing)
2) Con should
