Nuestros alumnos/as de 2 ESO están aprendiendo a hablar del pronóstico de tiempo en inglés pero...no sólo hemos recordado #cloudy #sunny #foggy sino que hemos aprendido NEW VOCABULARY!!!

We are focusing on a relevant task in groups this week to practice vocabulary, speaking, reading, and writing! Students will choose a city around the world and will write down information about the sky these days, temperature, wind, time of sunset and sunrise...
I am curious to know what the weather will be like in Vancouver or Sidney, we´ll compare this weather with Guadix!

INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Search information about a city your group want to know more about
2) Write the weather forecast for a week (including all relevant information)
3) Draw a map of the city
4) Prepare your speech for your classmates and questions
5) Perform your speech!! READY?

This week, our 2nd Bachillerato Students have practiced a VERY RELEVANT TOPIC with this mock exam: ELDERLY SPANISH COULD SLEEP IN PARK AFTER BEING EVICTED

We read aloud the text in class analysing the different words students may find difficult to translate but thanks to context, they easily knew the meaning of the words:
-WHEREABOUTS/ EVICTED/ MORTGAGE/

WRITING TASK:  IN OUR OPINION, WHAT ARE THE MOST SERIOUS SOCIAL PROBLEMS TODAY?

READY TO START YOUR WRITING?
