Queridos alumnos/as de 2Bachillerato:
Damos la bienvenida a un tercer trimestre atípico donde los haya pero no por eso, nuestro nivel de inglés va a flaquear, ¿verdad? Os encontráis a las puertas de la Universidad, momento muy esperado a la vez que decisivo, y por eso tenéis que poner toda "la carne en el asador" para aprovechar el confinamiento con organización y eficacia. Cuando hice este blog nunca pensé que experimentaríamos una situación así y que este blog además de apoyo a las clases presenciales, serviría como en esta ocasión a ofrecer pautas de trabajo desde casa. El momento llegó y lo estamos haciendo muy bien! Vamos a continuar trabajando para obtener los mejores resultados posibles este trimestre!
The KEY QUESTION IS...¿Por dónde empezamos?
Durante este mes de abril, vamos a trabajar MUCHO VOCABULARIO (ya sabéis que no es válido emplear siempre los mismos términos básicos, REPASO DE ESTRUCTURAS GRAMATICALES, READING COMPREHENSION,y WRITING PRACTICE (recordad el documento que os dí en la primera evaluación sobre "pautas para Writing" y por supuesto haremos mínimo 3 EXÁMENES EVAU
¿Y TODO PARA QUÉ? Para reforzar el inglés, no dejar que tenga óxido que luego será más difícil eliminar, el entrenamiento es clave. Recordad lo que decimos en clase: "si los mejores futbolistas entrenan antes del partido...nuestro partido final llegará con la Selectividad" y tendremos que marcar los mejores goles!
Además, el inglés es una de esas materias que ofrecen una GRAN Y ABSOLUTA RECOMPENSA a largo plazo pero que poco a poco se van obteniendo frutos ;)

ResponderEliminarIt is universally acknowledged that science is essential for everyone´s life, it is the basis of all scientific progress.
As we all know, science has many profits, among them, the continuing advances of previous years, mean improvement; Science, gives us knowledge, teaches us to see the world from another perspective and above all in a lot of cases, it helps save lives; This brings up to the question of whether Have you ever wondered what life would be like without science? Without a doubt society would have many problems, one such example is, if all of today's medications had not been invented, life expectancy would be much less.
Science studies from chemical reactions to biomolecules; this allows covering many fields that are too important for development today. If we get sick, we have the advantage that if it is not serious in less than a week we recover while our grandparents were not that lucky.
It is very important that new generations become aware of the great importance of science because we need new minds that get real innovations; a privileged mind that can find the cure such as of cancer. The problem with all this is that most of those who have a vocation for this abandon it, either because they do not reach the grade that is needed or because it is too complex.
To sum up, my own view of this is that, I would love to be a scientist for all the above reasons, I would love to be able to help save lives as a doctor or nurse; Nevertheless I think society makes it very difficult for us to have such high grades to enter the careers, the result of this is that people with a vocation may not get to study what they want.

ResponderEliminarNowadays science has become something very important for life and I would love to be a scientist and discover or help everyone.
It is Science that offers answers to almost all the questions I have in life, which can be easier or more complicated "Why do stars shine in the night sky?" or "Those fighter jets look great! How can you fly like this? Even the most complicated ones like" What is life?, "And for some of the questions that cannot be answered, we will find the answer and try to demonstrate it. in one of my most important questions: "Is there another other me, another version of the Earth and another universe?" To which science answers: "We do not know, it may be a possibility, therefore we will have to look for the answer.
On the other hand, I've always been struck by being a chemist, so maybe I see science so deep inside me, also when in some cases when you have been fighting for so long to achieve and you succeed it must be an incredible feeling and I want to experience it. On a more personal note, it also was my strongest subject in school to which, by joining science competitions and winning, my teachers and schoolmates highly appreciate, which I am proud of to this day
To sum up, from my point of view I think that I would love to work about this because I love science I would love to save lives, protect others, discover things ... and that can only be done by science. I encourage you to everyone who likes to enjoy it as I do.

ResponderEliminarIt seems to me that be a is a job much curious and fascinating.
The scientist are people that helps to world in every way. They can study about a disease for helps to people. If a pandemic occurred , they would work to fight that virus, like the Covid-19. In addition they also studing the tecnology world and have made much findings. They help us to learn about living beings, plants, animals, know about diseases, technology etc... and help us to make life more comfortable.
By contrast, the scientists always are in the front of the problem, that is to say, that if something happens that influences health, they have to fight it by taking risks in order to help. Also her health is in danger when they investigate something.Science is a complicated branch, and even to get there, you have to work very hard.
Summarising, being scientist is a excellent job but if i want be it, i will have that assume a responsabilition.

ResponderEliminarIt seems to me that be a scientist is a job much curious and fascinating. They have made that our planet can evolve and improve style of life.
On the one hand, to be a scientist is a precious job given that they study for discover medicines and can help sick people, for example when they discovered the vaccine for varicella. Besides thanks to them, we have very advanced technology, wich makes our lives easier, for example, to be able to study at a distance.
On the other hand, to be a scientist you have to study hard because as we know, sciences related grades are the highest. Besides, scientists are always faced difficult circumstances, for instance, stop Covid-19.
From my point of view, becoming a scientist is one of my goals.To be able to help people even though it's a job with a lot of responsibility.

ResponderEliminarScience has come a long way in the last few centuries. Nowadays, science is essential because thanks to it, many drugs have been invented that havve saved many lives and have even prevented many other people from contracting them.
I would like to be a scientist because I would like to help drug research to help people and gradually discover the cure for diseases that do not yet have it, as we know, the cancer can be cured in some cases but in others there is not cure, and I am sure that the more science advances, the closer we will be to finding a cure.
When I was in the Granada hospital watching the work they were doing, I knew what i wanted to do, they took us to some laaboratories and showed us know people worked analyzing organs, at first glance it doesn´t seem like much fun, but I would like to being a laboratory technician and being able to help people, discovering new diseases and making science progress more and more.
In coclusion, I would like to be a scientis for help to people that need help and can make a progress for science.

Scientists are interesting people, they are competent and they are simply admirable. Scientists are the future of our society and our whole world. They are the past and the present too. Without them we would not be able to develop as we currently do.
Nothing can be done if they hadn’t confirmed that you are doing the right thing and following the correct way. Their success provides us to means to exist.They carry out so important and fascinating investigations. Scientists are important for the world because they help us understand the way the world works in very specifics ways.
With the progress of scientific knowledge in recent decades, one can now expect to probe more deeply the question concerning the production of food, environment, the cure of diseases, and the sustainable management and use of biological resources.
For all that, I dream that one day I would be a fantastic scientific. I would love to improve and develop Spanish investigation area. One of the government’s biggest commitment is to promote research in Spain, and I would be proud to be part of this.
And…sometimes a discovery in the lab can lead to new products or services that will become million sellers, that is incredible!
There is another reason why I want to be a scientist. Scientist never seem to be satisfied with what they have. And this is because those who get along in life never really stop studying and learning. I consider to be a philosopher and a scientist in that regard.

ResponderEliminarI always imagine to be a scientist because there are amazing to compare with that of discoveries. Bring joy and excitement. But even more surprising is the feeling that you are one of the first to think of something.
You must be smart with your requests. I imagine that a scientist will ask for something much more durable and of greater benefit than riches such as gold. Most of your life will be spent doing fairly routine things. You can do the great experiment that can show you how nature works. You could call this a discovery.
In conclusion I think being a scientist could be a great experience to learn new things and help research and create things that help us improve as a society.

OPTION A) MY LEARNING TECHNIQUES
ResponderEliminarDifferent people use different techniques when studying. Some people use visual memory, others use auditory memory ... Each student seeks their best ability and adapts the study to it.
I always use my visual memory during the learning process and I find it the most effective for subjects that require memory and organization such as literature, history and biology. I use concept maps with general ideas and a color for each topic. So I organize the content in my mind.
When it comes to subjects such as languages and music, I am very lucky because my hearing is one of my best qualities. I have no problem learning a partiture quickly (by heart) or learning the pronunciation of English.
To start the study, I always follow a series of points to be effective.
1) First of all try to get a good sleep before studying and get into a right mood
1) Make learning fun by using videos, music. Also ask my friend to learn it with me
2) Clean the table each time before starting studying
3) Try to switch of mobile phone and internet so I don’t get distracted by others
4) Have a study plan and give myself little breaks in between
To summarize, I think that the fundamental thing is to be organized and of course, to have an attitude. If you aren’t ready to face the study, you can get your attention by looking for fun videos on the subject. Want is power, never forget it.

I think it's admirable to be a scientist. I'm personally studying a bachelor of science so I can become one of them. If you're a scientist, it means you're smart and the question is who wouldn't like it? They have a lot of knowledge and that's fascinating.

I really like to be a scientist because that's mean that I could help people. For example, imagine a person have a rare disease and obviously anyone has idea about what is better treatments to put. So I would research to find solutions to hel that person. Furthermore, if I work like scientist, I would fulfill one of my dreams.
But, on the other hand, it's difficult to start studying about something that nobody knows yet because there isn't previous information. Besides, we must have a prepared mind and to know different techniques to treat humans or animals for example.

I personally love animals. I have a beautiful bitch called Shadow and throughout my life I have had many kinds of animals: fish, turtles, squirrels, rabbits, dogs, cats…This has always made me very happy.
ResponderEliminarI think animals bring a lot to the world and our lives both physically and psychologically. On the one hand, animals contribute a lot to nature,for example bees produce honey and many vegetables bloom for them. The bats eat a lot of insects and thanks to them we avoid pests,also thanks to plankton we can breathe as they produce half the oxygen we consume.
On the other hand pets bring many things for the better in your health, they make you a lot of company in difficult times and and you will never get bored with them. They're fantastic.

ResponderEliminarWhen I was little, I liked the subject of science. I was passionate about biology and today it continues to attract me. Now that I'm older I have decided that my future job is related to being a scientist.
My brother is also a scientist and I would like to follow his footsteps and my family supports me a lot. My dream is to work for life in the laboratory with my colleagues. I want to help investigate new things, find the vaccine against viruses like the one that plagues us today: the coronavirus.
To sump up,I have always dreamed of being a scientist and helping humanity against pandemics. I would like it to come true because it is what I like and I pledge that I will try hard. Scientists make our society more protected and help us live in peace and harmony

ResponderEliminarNowadays, people live longer. This is due to several reasons that have made our society more comfortable and therefore the quality of life is much better. However, ¿Why do people live longer?
From a long time ago to the present day, key measures have been promoted that help the population to become more comfortable. Therefore, an example of this would be the advance of science that has made that in many diseases a cure is found capable of curing the pathology that the person suffers thus avoiding their death. Education has also advanced over time, and today education is a right and an obligation, which makes young people more prepared and spend less time doing more forced labor. Hard work has been replaced by many factories have been replaced by machinery. In addition, in the food diet it has made people in Spain and throughout the world eat better and that they do not lack food, so that they have better health and their life expectancy is much greater.

ResponderEliminarNowdays, drug abuse affects our society, especially among young people and adults. This is a seriously problem because an overdose could generate the death . However, is it really worth using drugs in abuse?
Since in itself drugs are damaging, a substance abuse can reach aspects such as death. Drugs are unnecessary in our lives since they are superfluous. Besides drugs are expensive, they are very difficult to stop using. To addition to this, many people don´t want to use drugs they and want to quit them, but it costs them a lot. Moreover drugs can cause neuronal, physical and psychological problems. Drugs are not worth consuming, much less in abuse. They harm us and make us other people. I don´t understand that there are people who consume drugs, since they do not cause any benefit for what I would outlaw.
